Notice of Property Tax Increase

The Dublin City Schools Board of Education has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 0.54% percent. 

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at Dublin High School  located at 1127 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, Georgia on Monday, September 25, 2023 at  6:00 p.m. 

Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are to be held at the Board of Education  Office located at 207 Shamrock Drive, Dublin, Georgia on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:45 a.m. and 6:00  p.m. 

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 19.25 mills, an increase of 0.104 mills. Without this  tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 19.146 mills. The proposed tax increase for a  home with a fair market value of $125,000 is $5 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property  with a fair market value of $100,000 is $4.
