Dublin City Schools Closed For Students On Monday, September 30th

Due to the lasting impacts of Hurricane Helene, Dublin City Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Monday, September 30th.

Students participating in extracurriculars will be receiving additional information from their sponsors/coaches.  Staff will be receiving additional information from their principals/supervisors as well.

While our schools will be closed, Dublin High School will be open on Monday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM for students, staff, and community members to recharge their devices and enjoy the cool AC. However, please bring the needed charging cables with you.

Additionally, we're excited to announce that our Dublin City School Nutrition Staff will be offering FREE HOT LUNCHES for all children ages 18 and under tomorrow, Monday, September 30th. Meals will be available beginning at 11:00 AM, while supplies last.

Students can either enjoy their delicious meal inside Dublin High School’s cafeteria or pick up meals to-go from the designated area around the back of the school, near the DHS Gym. Please note, per USDA guidelines, only one meal per child will be provided.

At this time, we anticipate that schools will reopen on Tuesday, October 1st. However, should there be any further changes or delays, they will be communicated through ParentSquare, Dublin City Schools’ website, and district social media channels. We will also share updates with local media partners.

Fighting Irish Family, be safe, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our community.
