Fighting Irish Family, join us in celebrating Dublin High School-Georgia's Caitlyn Nesbitt! The Junior earned academic honors through College Board's National African American Recognition Program. She finished in the top 10% of Georgia’s PSAT assessment takers within her award program and is currently in the Top 5 for DHS’s Class of 2025.
In addition to taking Honors, Advanced Placement and Dual-Enrollment classes, she's an active member of the Beta Club and a three-sport student-athlete, wonderfully representing the Lady Irish in softball, basketball and track.
Future-focused, Nesbitt plans to pursue a career as a sports video editor and is already committed to continuing her athletic journey in college as a member of Duke University's Softball Team. She recognizes that the road ahead isn't an easy one, but adds "if I continue to perform well in my classes and work hard, I’m going to do it.”
For students taking the PSAT this year, Nesbitt advises “eliminate the ones you know are wrong. And, don’t get tricked by one answer. Take time; really think about it and see what they’re asking.”
Let's give Caitlyn a huge round of applause for this well-deserved recognition! Your hard work and determination have paid off, and we can't wait to see the incredible heights you will reach in the future.
