Communications
In addition to providing communications avenues for all of Dublin City, the School Public Relations Department is dedicated to promoting positive relationships among our students, staff and greater school community. We are committed to providing the Fighting Irish Family with accurate, timely and transparent information through a variety of communications tools.
Storytelling
We pride ourselves on telling the stories of our students and staff in order to increase our community’s awareness of our district’s many successes. Overall, our goal is to build trust and support for not only Dublin City Schools but public education at large. If you have a story idea, please send us an email.
Social Media
We manage the district's parent notification system and are the primary producers of content for Dublin City School’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube channels. Follow us to get the latest news and information. Have a story you’d like to share on district social media? Submit social media post stories and requests relevant to the greater Dublin City Schools staff or students via email.
Publications
We publish various informational pieces (including calendars, an annual report and various brochures) and lead the district's crisis communications efforts. Check with your school office to make sure your contact information is current in our student information system. And, click here to sign-up for our e-newsletter, Dr. Williams' Lead Learner Update.
Media Contacts
And, the communications team is the primary point of contact for the news media. Visit our press room to view recent releases. For media requests, including after-hours media inquiries, call (478) 484-6554 or (478)-353-7926.
