Research Proposal Submission for Review and Approval

Dublin City Schools welcomes research efforts that support improved teaching, learning, and district operations. To ensure that all studies align with our mission and protect the interests of our students and staff, all external researchers, university partners, and organizations must submit a formal research proposal for review and approval prior to beginning any data collection within the district.

To submit a proposal:

1. Prepare a complete research packet, including a description of the study, purpose, methodology, data collection tools, anticipated timeline, and any required approvals (such as IRB documentation).

2. Email all materials to the designated Dublin City Schools Research Review contact at: pr@dcsirish.com.

3. Allow adequate time for review. Proposals are evaluated based on relevance to district priorities, protection of participant privacy, methodological soundness, and feasibility.

4. Receive written approval before contacting schools, staff, students, or families.

Please note that the district may decline or request revisions for proposals that do not meet guidelines, present privacy concerns, or impose undue burden on schools.

For questions or additional information, please contact the Dublin City Schools Central Office at 478-353-8000.
