Board Chair, Mandy Smith

Amanda Smith is a lifelong resident of Dublin, Georgia, whose personal and professional life reflects a deep, unwavering commitment to community and children. Born and raised in Dublin, Amanda graduated from Dublin High School in 1997 before earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia in 2001. Her educational foundation laid the groundwork for a life centered on service, leadership, and collaboration.
Amanda currently serves as Chair of the Dublin City School Board, where she is deeply committed to working alongside fellow board members, educators, and community partners to strengthen schools and expand opportunities for every child. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, respect, and a shared vision for student success. She also serves on the Stepping Stones Board, Communities In Schools Board, and The Way College and Career Academy Board, further demonstrating her dedication to supporting children and families throughout the community.
In addition to her civic leadership, Amanda and her husband, Jason, are the local business owners as the operators of the Golden Corral restaurant, contributing to the economic vitality of the community she proudly calls home. She is an active member and volunteer at Pine Forest United Methodist Church, where her faith guides her service and commitment to others.
Above all, Amanda is a devoted wife to her husband, Jason Smith, and a loving mother to their three daughters—Amelia, Aubrey, and Adley. Together, Amanda and Jason share a strong commitment to family, faith, and community. Whether through education, business, faith, or volunteerism, Amanda Smith leads with heart, humility, and an enduring belief that meaningful progress is achieved by working together to uplift the next generation.
