Advertised Millage Rate & Tax Notice

The Dublin City Schools Board of Education has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 24.71%.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at the Board of Education Office located at 207 Shamrock Drive, Dublin, Georgia on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6:00 PM.

Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are to be held at the Board of Education Office located at 207 Shamrock Drive, Dublin, Georgia on Thursday, October 24 at 11:45 AM and 6:00 PM.

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 18.564 mills, an increase of 3.678 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 14.886 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $125,000 is $177 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $100,000 is $147.
